Book your child in for a fun-filled hour, two hours, or a full day at The Tree House. While you unwind and enjoy the serene farm surroundings, our experienced team will engage and entertain your little ones with our interactive edutainment programs. Choose from flexible booking options to suit your schedule.

TREE HOUSE HOLIDAY PROGRAMME - FESTIVE 25|26

Kids aged 3–12 are invited to enjoy an unforgettable outdoor farm adventure this Festive Season, designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and connection with nature.

5 Weeks of themed days that combine outdoor fun, creative crafts, and nature-based learning, all in the safe care of our experienced Tree House team. Each day offers morning, afternoon, or full-day options, with a maximum of 15 children to ensure individual attention. Activities are tailored to ages 3–12, with gentle guidance for younger kids and more challenging explorations for older ones.

BIRTHDAYS AT THE TREE HOUSE

Our experienced team is eager to help make your young adventurer’s birthday one to remember. With a host of fun activities and our expert Tree House team on hand, this will be the wildest adventure party yet. Get in touch with our team today to start planning.

PUMP TRACK

Our MTB pump track is located next to The Tree House playground and is open to all Boschendal visitors. Bring your own bike. This experience requires parental supervision.

Join us for a relaxed afternoon picnic on our lawns featuring the best seasonal picnic baskets. Please note that our summer picnics will be taking a break for the winter season from 1st June to 1st October.

WINTER PICNICS

We are very excited to announce that our Winter Picnic Menu is here to book and enjoy in our lush farm gardens from the 1st of June to the 30th of September.

Our popular summer picnic menu will return on the 1st of October.

IN THE BASKET

Our Werf picnic baskets include food made from our natural farm produce including freshly baked bread, green salads from our Werf Food Garden, free-range, handmade charcuterie cuts from the Boschendal Butchery, homemade preserves and our celebrated desserts.

BASKET COLLECTION

Choose between a table and chair or picnic blankets and lawn chair options upon booking.

Picnics are weather dependent. Should it rain, you will have the option to change your date or enjoy your picnic basket as a takeaway.

The Tree House Playground and Pump Track are accessible from the picnic lawn for children.

Vegan and Gluten free options available on request.

Embark on a captivating morning of flavour, discovery, and exclusive access to breathtaking scenery with our Wine & Wander Safari. This unique three-hour experience unfolds against the stunning 1,900-hectare backdrop of The Boschendal Farm, inviting you to delve into the heart of our vineyards.

Every Saturday, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, you’ll create unforgettable moments and leave with cherished memories, plus a memorable gift valued at R650.

Running and Hiking Trails

Bikes are available for rental from our Trail Centre , where day visitors can also purchase walking and riding permits. Guests are welcome to book a tour guide for a more guided experience.

OUR TRAILS

RUNNING & WALKING

Runners and walkers can choose between a 5km or 10km marked route.

GUIDED HIKES

The Guided Hike experiences will be R150 per person for in-house guests.

Our guided hikes begin at 07h00 to allow guests to experience the best of our farm in the early morning light.

Bookings can be made through our reservations team at least 24 hours in advance with a minimum of 2 guests per booking.

The hikes will be available daily but is also weather dependent. The price is inclusive of 1 x Still water.

For guests that do not want the guide, they can choose between a 5km or 10km marked route starting from the trail centre.
